Katie Lau is an architectural designer at MADE Design/Build in Brooklyn, NY and an Assistant Adjunct Professor at the Cooper Union. Much of Katie's work focuses on engaging communities and material lifecycles through design-build methodologies.

Recently, she's been a Design Fellow at the SHADE institute in Honolulu, Hawaii; a Design-Build Fellow with the Yale School of Architecture Regenerative Building Lab; and a student project manager for the Jim Vlock Building Project. She has written and edited for Paprika! and One:Twelve Journal. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Ohio State University and a Master of Architecture from Yale University.
